WE DO: 

1. Mechanical Clearing: This method is very common here in Polk County and uses heavy equipment like bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes to remove vegetation and level the land. It is typically used for larger areas or when speed and efficiency are important.
2. Grubbing: Grubbing involves removing the roots of trees and shrubs along with the above-ground portions. This method is used for areas with deep-rooted vegetation, such as hardwood forests.
3. Manual Clearing: This method involves physically cutting and removing vegetation by hand, using chainsaws, axes, or machetes. It is typically used for small areas or for selective clearing.

WE DO NOT USE:

1. Chemical Clearing: Chemicals like herbicides can be used to kill unwanted vegetation before it is removed. This method is often used in conjunction with other techniques, however we choose to not utilize this method to clear land in Haines City, Lakeland and Winter Haven or elsewhere.
2. Controlled Burning: Controlled burning involves setting fire to the area to be cleared, under carefully controlled conditions, to remove vegetation and prepare the land for use. This method is used in areas with heavy brush and vegetation.

Overall, it's important to note that the chosen method of clearing land should always be evaluated to minimize any potential negative environmental impacts and comply with local regulations and permits.
